Minimum Age: Minimum age of 12 (or accompanied by paid adult)
Time & Place:
7:00am (sharp!) at the Woodmen Park and Ride (Southwest of Woodmen Road and I-25). Please be prompt! Car pools will be formed and additional trailhead directions will be given at that time. 4X4 vehicles are recommended for carpooling.
Trip Registration:
To register for a custom trip date, email us at info@alpenquest.com or call the AlpenQuest Office line: (719) 635-4741 or toll-free (800) 366-4831 (please leave a detailed message – if we are not available we will return your call promptly). A 50% deposit (Visa, Mastercard, Check or money order) is required to reserve the trip date.
Trip Confirmation:
An AlpenQuest guide will give you a courtesy call on the evening before the scheduled trip to confirm details.
Trip Cancellation:
Should the trip be cancelled for any reason, an AlpenQuest guide will contact you the day prior to the field session. You may choose to apply paid credit toward another class or request a full refund.
Participant Cancellations:
Participants wishing to cancel a trip and requesting a refund must contact AlpenQuest at least 24-hours in advance of the scheduled trip date.

- Down or Synthetic fill jacket
- Synthetic Long Underwear (top and bottoms)

- Waterproof/Windproof Shell Parka
- Waterproof/Windproof Shell Pants
- Insulated Shell Gloves & Mitts
- Warm, sturdy insulated/waterproof boots
- Headlamp (w/ extra batteries)
