2-DAY WINTER PIKES PEAK ADVENTURE

Join us for a classic, winter snowshoe trek to Barr Camp (10,200’) on “The Peak”.  This two-day trip includes overnight lodging at the historic camp with dinner and breakfast prepared for us by the camp caretakers. On day two, participants may choose to take a scenic, guided half-day hike from Barr Camp before returning back to the trailhead. Cost is $129.00 per person (includes equipment rentals). Minimum participants: 4 (contact us for private rates – less than four participants).

3-DAY WINTER PIKES PEAK ADVENTURE

Join us for a challenging, three-day winter experience on Pikes Peak. This trip will include two-nights lodging at Barr Camp (10,200’) with dinners and breakfasts prepared  for us by the camp staff. Participants may elect to make a challenging summit attempt on Pikes Peak or choose a less demanding day-hike option to A-Frame Shelter, Bottomless Pit or Elk Park. Note: a winter climb to the summit of Pikes Peak can be a very arduous and demanding excursion. Interested participants must be in excellent condition with prior winter mountaineering experience.  Cost is $179.00 per person (includes equipment rentals).  Minimum participants: 4 (contact us for private rates – less than four participants).

Pikes Peak Winter Adventure Details

Minimum Age: Minimum age of 13

Time & Place to Meet:

8:00am (sharp!) at the Woodmen Road Park and Ride (Southwest of Woodmen and I-25). Please be prompt! Car pools will be formed and additional trailhead directions will be given at that time.

Trip Registration:

To Register for a custom trip date, email us at info@alpenquest.com or call the AlpenQuest Office line: (719) 635-4741 or toll free: (800) 366-4831 (please leave a detailed message – if we are not available we will return your call promptly). A 50% deposit ( Visa, Mastercard, check, or money order)is required to reserve a trip date.

Trip Confirmation:

An AlpenQuest guide will give you a courtesy call on the evening before the scheduled trip to confirm details.

Trip Cancellation:

Should the class be cancelled for any reason, an AlpenQuest guide will contact you the day prior to the field session. You may choose to apply paid credit toward another trip or request a full refund.

Participant Cancellation:

Participants wishing to cancel a trip and requesting a refund must contact AlpenQuest at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled trip date.
