LEARN TO ICE CLIMB!
Discover the world of waterfall ice climbing at North Cheyenne Canyon Park in Colorado Springs. AlpenQuest offers scheduled group lessons in this exciting winter sport from January to March (See schedule below). Our friendly, knowledgeable guides will take you through all the essential skills of ice climbing, including: knotcraft, climbing signals & terms, ice tool & crampon technique, belaying, movement on ice, and of course, lots of climbing time! The price includes all climbing gear and all skill levels are welcome. Ice climbing is an awesome activity for all ages, its safe, its fun, and we guarantee you will have a great time. Class Fee: $89.00 per person (includes all climbing gear)

Prerequisite: None required

Minimum Age: Minimum age of 12 (or accompanied by a paid adult)

Number of Participants: Minimum – 4 / Maximum – 12

Time & Place:
8:00 am (sharp!) at the Woodmen Road Park and Ride (Southwest of Woodmen and I-25). Please be prompt! Car pools will be formed and additional trailhead directions will be given at that time. 4 x 4 vehicles are recommended for carpooling.

Class Registration:
Pre-registration is required at least 48-hours in advance for all scheduled class dates. A credit card (Visa or Mastercard), check, or money order paid in full is required to reserve a spot for the class. Class Confirmation:
An AlpenQuest guide will give you a courtesy call on the evening before the scheduled class to confirm details.

Class Cancellation:
Should the class be cancelled or postponed for any reason, an AlpenQuest guide will contact you the day prior to the field session. You may choose to apply paid credit toward the next scheduled class or request a full refund.

Participant Cancellations:
Participants wishing to cancel a class and requesting a refund must contact AlpenQuest at least 24-hours in advance of the scheduled class date.
